Soundscapes

Speaking in shapes.

I have a condition called synesthesia. Because of it, my brain links sounds with colors.

When I’m not writing, I paint songs and voices on photos of places where I wish I’d heard them. I’ve also recently expanded my practice to include paintings on canvas, usually of single songs or albums.

You can find samples of my work on my Instagram, @snemels.

Commissions are usually open! Hit me up. x
